There is team of volunteers that are running Zvannieki – mummies, daddies, godmothers, godfathers – people who are foster families and legal guardians for these children and who is loving and caring for this children as they are their own.
Zvannieki team is together with children on day-to-day bases, in good and bad days, shares joy and sorrow, supports in everything, sits with them when they are ill, helps them to do homework. We love to go skiing in wintertime or go to adventurous trips and camping in summer time.
The founders of the Charity are Pastor Juris Calitis (pastor in St. Savoir Anglican Church in Riga and Reformed Latvian Lutheran Church in Riga) and his wife Sandra Dzenite-Calite. They both are the main Mum and Dad in our house. We have our own Grandma and many other mummies and godmothers, as well as many friends and supporters. There are two very special people who are taking extremely good care of us despite the distance – they are Pastor Sarma Eglite (US) and Pastor Helmuts Brauer (Germany).
